It’s certainly a sad day when you go outside and see barely a spot of green. But thankfully, it’s still sweater weather. Or at least that is what I am convincing myself.

My sister in law is so crazy talented, is all I can say! I spent part of the weekend hanging out with my sister in law for a shoot idea I really wanted to try! It was the last day of beautiful weather before snow and flurries would suddenly cover the ground, So I figured it was now or never. So glad I was able to get the shoot together in literally less than 2 days. And soo glad to have my sister in law on board to do hair. The shoot required a 1940′s esq hairstyles so I definitely wanted a professional on board. And in comes my sister in law to the rescue!! Love love love everything she did! and here is just a behind of the scenes look at the getting ready portion of the shoot! Be on the lookout for a sneak peak of how the actual shoot came together !!
I feel like it’s been a little overdue. I haven’t done an outfit post in foreva! So, the other day I decided to take a little stroll with my sisters before the sun went completely down. And while strolling we took some pictures. So cheers to late night walks. I find that they are the best kind.

Nashville is a place I absolutely love. Ever since going there for the first time, I made it a point to go every summer after that. In fact it is actually the place that sparked this idea of actually having a photography business. So, naturall
y when I went back this summer I made it a point to do some photoshoots. But this shoot was a little different. I contacted a friend
who I know is a Stylist- Caitlin Colling and asked her if she would be interested in collaborating. And after that the shoot slowly started coming to life. I sent her some inspiration pictures from a companies style that I really liked( Thompson 15). A style I had yet to photograph. And Caitlin was so amazing that she got them to let us use their clothes for this shoot and she was also an amazing model too. I love how the shoot ended up coming together! So excited to finally share the rest of the images.
Beauty is how you feel inside, and it reflects in your eyes. It is not something physical.

Dying yes, I’m dying over these images. Maricar you are amazing and beautiful thank you for being a part of this shoot! Shoots like this is honestly something I want to include in my photography more frequently! I love working with the ladies I have worked with to create an amazing vision for each individual person. Me and color are like two peas in a pod. I have never been one to shy away from color. But also because of that I have made some, let’s just say fashion learning experiences 
But I’d rather try something crazy then not try at all. But usually if I decide to wear something really loud I make sure to pair it with neutrals. So be bold, get out there and try something crazy

Stephanie! oh my gosh. There are so many amazing words I can say about her. I’ve admired her from a far for a couple months now and about a week ago I had the honor of doing a mentor session with her. As much as I look up to older photographers, my respect level grows so much for young photographers that have created such amazing photography businesses. She is only 22!( The same age as me) and yet her business is booming beyond control it seems. Her work simply amazing and I get so inspired every time I see her work. Inspired to keep working, to dream big, to not set any limits in anything you do.
As inspiring as she is through her work and on her page. She is just as amazing in person as well! Throughout the whole mentor session her passion seriously sparked the whole time. You can always tell when someone loves what they do and I love being around people like that. She constantly wanted to make sure that any questions I had were answered and she was giving me all the information/ advice throughout the shoot. I left with so much valuable information and also an amazing friend! And p.s our model Mikayla (Who is also an aspiring photographer) freaking worked the shoot!
