In just a little less than a month I will be photographing this amazing couple. Although I am not even sure if the word amazing does them justice. They are a couple that loves to have fun, and you can tell they bring that with them everywhere they go. They are truly just two big kids, who love adventure and that is what we centered the shoot around. Fair warning- Image overload
A couple weeks ago I decided to head back to the place that inspired me to do photography. I got to meet with old friends and also make new ones. And I also go to do an amazing shoot with amazing people. Can’t thank all the insanely talented vendors enough for being so kind and giving to create this vision of mine. Generous! I’m not even sure if that is the word for it. Doing this styled shoot has made me realize just how truly giving and generous people are. Having people who don’t really know you, who believe in your vision is beyond an amazing thing. This shoot came together so beautifully and I am so thankful for the incredible vendors we got to work with(Which will be listed below) highly recommend them all!!
So what is this shoot all about? A couple months ago I met some amazing photographers through an event called Jasmine star‘s the fix. And ever since then we have been putting together styled shoots during the off seasons. We collaborate and draw inspiration from eachother. This year we decided to go with The Great Gatsby theme in honor of the movie that will be coming out within the next year. We are soo excited with how everything came together! And I am soo lucky to be able to collaborate with some amazing photographers who I now call friends. I’m so excited to share our modern twist on the book The Great Gatsby.

It’s all about the details!! I had originally only intended for this to be a two part blog post. But there is just so many pictures to have shown on shoot I couldn’t fit it all into one post without it being extremely long! So here we have part two of the Lightology styled shoot!
I really don’t even know where to begin. I guess it all started with a common bond that we all shared. Wanting to learn and meet Mrs. Jasmine star by attending an event called “The Fix”. Thus begins how 9 photographers met and decided to plan a styled shoot together! I knew none of these ladies before that day and I really don’t think any of them really knew each other. After connecting through the Jasmine Star ( The fix) facebook group. We started are styled shoot journey together.
I’m so blessed to have met these 8 other woman. I do believe it was incredible fate that brought us together because we all clicked so well, it was crazy. Just to let you how awesome these ladies are, we planned this shoot in 2 WEEKS!! it was the only day we were all available so we went for it! We all still chat and talk even after the shoot is finished and hopefully plan to do more in the future.
